The 40th Anniversary Gala: House of Harvest raised enough to provide more than 9.6 million meals to New Yorkers in need. City Harvest’s Annual Gala brought together celebrities, influencers, and NYC’s high-profile individuals to honor supporters who have played a significant role in helping us to feed our neighbors in need. This year’s Gala was especially meaningful as we honored Board Chair Jim Kallman and our Frontline Heroes and marked 40 years serving New York City. The evening was hosted by actor and producer Tyson Beckford, and featured a live auction with auctioneer Nicholas D. Lowry of Swann Auction Galleries, with a dance party following hosted by international ballroom icon Jack Mizrahi.
Past attendees have included Antoni Porowski, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, Nas, Darren Criss, Richard Gere, Julianne Moore, Chelsea Clinton, Brooks Nader, Cynthia Nixon, Elizabeth Olsen, Benjamin Bratt, Ryan and Emilia Serhant, and Martha Stewart. Chef supporters have included Eric Ripert, Geoffrey Zakarian, José Andrés, Tom Colicchio, Alex Guarnaschelli, Anne Burrell, Ron Ben-Israel, Marc Murphy, Marcus Samuelsson, Melba Wilson, Donatella Arpaia, Michael White, Dominique Ansel, Vikas Khanna, and Ted Allen.
