The Great New York Foodathon

Thank you to our Board member and Food Council Chair, Geoffrey Zakarian, and FOX5 for hosting The Great New York Foodathon to benefit our work making sure the growing number of New Yorkers who need help putting meals on their tables have access to nutritious food amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of their overall $10 million commitment to City Harvest, XTX Markets, a leading electronic market-maker, generously matched all Foodathon gifts made through Sunday, April 19, doubling the impact of every donation.

We are grateful to producer Jaret Keller and the incredible array of talented chefs, entertainers, and personalities who participated, giving their time and coming together while staying apart to create this memorable TV special that helped us raise enough to help feed 1.7 million New York City families in need for a day. A huge, heartfelt thanks to everyone who watched and donated. It is only thanks to your support that we will be able to continue to feed our city throughout this unprecedented crisis.
